Instagram photo safari and workshops for children by Fatamorgana

This year, Art Copenhagen is collaborating with the Copenhagen photography school, Fatamorgana to create fun, educational art activities for young visitors to the fair.

Throughout the weekend of the fair, Fatamorgana will organise special Instagram photo safaris, on which children can use their own, or a parent’s mobile to tackle fun photographic tasks at the fair. Fatamorgana’s teachers and young, upcoming photographers associated with the school will offer expert guidance and feedback. There will be new competitions each day, and the winning photos will be published through a new Instagram account and hashtag. Look for Fatamorgana’s specially designed children’s area, where young talents can participate in other visual games and photography-related creative workshops.

Fatamorgana was founded in Copenhagen in 1989 and is led by the Danish photographer, Morten Bo. The school offers four-month and one-year photography courses as well as a variety of shorter summer workshops. Several prominent Danish artists working with photography received their training at Fatamorgana.
